Amosu Rolex Nigeria 50th Anniversary Watch to Celebrate of Nigeria’s Independence

Yes, you have surely already seen this before, and you know so clearly there’s a glorious story behind every timepiece made for the celebration of any anniversary. And this, by the world-famous watchmaker Rolex, came exclusively to commemorate the 50 years of Nigeria’s independence from the United Kingdom since October 1st, 1960. To mark this event the British-Nigerian entrepreneur Alexander Amosu designed such a special luxury wristwatch.   Known for his brand of diamond encrusted luxury mobile phones and suits, Alexander Amosu this time brilliantly expressed his idea by using the iconic Oyster Perpetual Submariner from Rolex. The project took months of work, yet as a proud Nigerian, the designer said it was his honor to do something special to mark this historic occasion. He wanted to made a legacy timepiece, which can be passed down by generations, and when you see this Amosu Rolex Nigeria 50th Anniversary Watch, you know that Amosu simply has succeeded.   And naturally, as can be seen from the purpose of the creation, this timepiece most definitely represents Nigeria to the fullest. Obviously the colors of white and green employed by this watch comes from Nigeria’s national flag. Each one comes with luminescent indices, a date window, markings on a green bezel, and dial text in white against a green dial.   Limited to 50 pieces, the watches got individual numbered each. The first model became a gift to the President of Nigeria and then the next nine was auctioned. Lastly the rest 40 were available at Alexander’s website. And doubtlessly it will be anything but easy for average buyers to actually get the luxury style, which costs up to 20 grand. That’s also why Rolex replica watches always go really hot in the market. If you can get exactly the same look of the authentic model at a far far lower price by turning to the top grade replica watches, would you still trap yourself in heavy debt to gain the pricy originals?
